100 Themes Book, November 2009 - Present.Collection of one hundred illustrated, writing exercises taking place in original fantasy universe. Drawn in pencil and marker with digital edits, and laid out in Adobe InDesign. To be printed, along with design sketches, in March 2013. Funding to be raised via Kickstarter.

The Croods, July 2011 - February 2013.

Technical director in lighting department. Fixed technical issues in shots and supported lighting artists. Managed fur-based flowers in field environment. Developed tool for viewing point-based global illumination output, coded in Python in UNIX environment.

Misfit Toy Shoreline Concept Design, December 2012.Re-design of shoreline of the Island of Misfit Toys in Rankin and Bass’s Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. A safe place for the toys to band together and make a new home for each other, in pen and marker on toned paper. A cozy community hidden underground from the outside elements, structurally held together by ice and tree roots. Toys move from room to room through underground tunnels. There is even one for the Charlie-in-the-Box, that pops him out at the entrance for his sentry duties.. An archway of frozen present boxes welcomes new toys. Existing residents pop out of the toy-chest-shaped, main hall, and assign them one of a line of uniform beds. As toys spend more time in the space, they carve out their own underground apartment, expanding the community as they wait for Santa. Initial research from:
Homeless Shelters and Hotels - how uprooted people live.
Ice Buildings - how ice can be used as a construction material.
Beaches - story requires a shoreline.
Deserts, Parks, Gardens - wider variety of shapes.
Castles, Religious Buildings - architecture.
